What do somali people think of a somali male model?

So, i was wondering what Somalians think when they hear about a somali male model. Do they support their fellow Somalian or have a negative opinion of them. (BE VERY HONEST) and please try to speak in english because my somali isn't great.

Let me tell you what I think about Somali male models. I think they're probably undercover gays, because no self respecting man will agree to be a piece of meat infront of other men a.k.a the camera men. The camera man will make you his sex slave, telling you how to turn when to turn and take off all of your clothes. That's just my two cent.

Models get paid by the photoshoot. If they work today they will get paid today, if they don't work the whole month then they're not paid at all. It sucks unless you're a high end model who modeled for big designer names.

@julkimi thats a stereotype, bu i appreciate the honesty. what do you think the general public would think of him if he became sucssful and a voice for the somali people? because there are too many negatives about our people out there and someone in the spotlight could shed light on the positives and maybe even help rebuild our reputation from a bunch of "pirates" or "terrorists" to ordinary people... any input is appreciated

My Somali neighbour has been asked for a modelling photo shoot several times and refused because of his father's objection. His dad knows he goes out, drinks and has several girls. But modelling is Xaraam. He reminded me of another young dude who joined the police academy secretly without revealing to his parents, a negative campaign has been waged by the neighbours and some other Somalis against the family and especially against him accusing him of becoming a snitch. @archlagger yea haha i heard of him, idk if he still models tho. and yea money is only a problem if you don't market yourself well, in this world run by social media, your value goes up the more known you are, would be easier for a somali to get shot to fame, if we supported each other instead of segregating and putting each other down... thank you for your comment as well tho
