Re: Somali mothers being pushed out of the gas market
Too bad for the "Somali mothers" if they cannot compete. Lower gas prices are good for the overall economy. The few hundred or thousand women vendors in Xamar may lose business, but hundreds of thousands will now have cheaper energy prices. This is the price one pays for development.

The mini buses are next in line imo. It's just a matter of time before an organised bus company pushes them out.
The currency traders, the small shops etc etc will all lose to bigger investments. These people won't starve though as they are already living a better life than most in Xamar.
They'll just need to find something else to invest in, or do it the Somali way and buy a share in the company that pushed them out.
