Your 100% right, however the reality in Somaliland is that of "democracy" fused with tribalism. It's more about clan alliances than individual merits of candidates. In Somaliland this system of politics is so entrenched that it is beyond reversal.

I admire muse bihi. He is a wadani person, who was part of the SNM men that fought and liberated somaliland.
But this guy is a soldier, he is not a politician.
I think this guy might do something stupid like take us to war. He has that war mentality in him.
I think the best candidate to take over Kulmiye should be Samale.
Samale does so much for the country, but people don't give him enough credit.
If Samale stands for election he has my vote. But if Bihi chooses to be the next Presidential candidate then I'm not so sure.
I don't want another soldier running the country like Riyale.
