Faysal knows full well that UCID will not win the next election with Jamal as the candidate, reason for this is that despite all the hoohaa the major arm of HA (Sacaad Muuse) will fall in line behind Kulmiye in the next election, because if they do then they will have full support in 5 years time from the Kulmiye alliance. Choosing Bixi Yoonis as the UCID candidate would give SM a choice: Wait 5 more years for a candidate or vote for your man today... I think, with that choice, Sacad Muuse unite behind UCID. Also Maxamed Bixi Yoonis is a great candidate, with an excellent track record.
If he does this then Faysal would have completely outsmarted both Silanyo and Cirro and prove himself to be a heavyweight.
