You can call it federalism but they are not there yet. Citizens of the county elect their governors and have their own parliament.

Did they finish constructing Kismaayo road/highway in Garissa?

The Govornor Nathif Jama talked to his friends in Islamic banking in the Gulf and they are funding the Garissa-Modagashe road to the tune of $80 million. I think it will connect Garissa and Wajir to Isiolo and the national highway system. Nathif Jama is taking full advantage of devoltion

This is an appalling flag and I don't think the Kenyan law doesn't allow county governments to have their own flags only the national flag (I could be wrong). Nathif Jama has been a mix bag so far, he has done some good things and some bad things in his two years in office. The level of corruption is simply staggering, his Cowlyahan clan is doing most of the looting I am told (I am not very close to going-on). I have a strong feeling, in 2017, he will not be returned. I hope he does more in 2015 for our people. Kismayo Road is so far done, I am expecting all the other roads in Garissa Town will also be done.

lordiplock, I think he is the best thing reer garissa have had so far. He has done lots of good things equally for all the sub counties.

From the presentation he gave in Birmingham He sounded like a man with a plan.
I will say that I fully support the Cawlyahan in running the Garissa county.
Other OG tribes should bow down to the Cawlyahan in Kenya.
