I used to chew on anything plastic too. It's just compulsive habit. We all develop a little bit of it. Nothing wrong with it unless it's embarrassing you. Not sure the reasoning behind it, other than occupying your mind. I switched to chewing gums, helped a lot. To the point chewing gums like sir Alex ferguson
