I just came back from the Wal Mart and these guys have an entire aisle dedicated to ethnic foods. Indian spices, Chinese food ingredients, Thai stuff.

It only used to be just one shelf. And it's clearly cheaper than what the small ethnic stores ate charging.

I wonder if Somali/East African items will be their target next

Why go to Walmart when u can to go To TARGE'E???? Clean, bright, and Cheaper. Everything sparkles, from the floor to the shoppers. Walmart has Mexicans and welfare recipient adoons! uuffff! I am judging.

Big Box retailers are now planning a move to urban areas to open smaller stores to attract those who value convenience of shopping in their neighborhoods.

On another note, people of Walmart pics are hilarious!

I hope not, Walmart only carries a fraction of the selection found in the ethnic shops. I often shop in Oriental and other ethnic stores, you can't get the stuff they sell in Wally World or any other mainline grocer. They don't carry the real spices, good fish sauce or proper ramen noodles
