A police didn't kill this time

Post by Malachite »

We usuallly see the events when police officers kill citizens rightly make the news, and don't turn out as they should. We see few, but still too many where justice is not served. I also highly think that there are bunch, many more cases when our police do it right. When the police protect and serve the public, while protecting the rights of the accused....There was this incident, where anthony Beardslee kidnapped a woman in plain view of others, and sped off in a truck. The Eugene police department showed at this house. Dude seemed pretty intent on suicide by police, waving, what seemed like a gun. The police got close enough to see it wasn't a gun. After negotiating failed, they subdued him with rubber bullets, and stun gun. Even continued to struggle. W don't see this on the news because good stories don't sell

But then, it hit me, why can't it be this way all the time? had the guy been a black, would the outcome be the same or different?
