Back to the question: akhlaaq. How they conduct themselves in hardships and unexpected moments.

Akhlaaq is a beautiful thing. It encompasses so many characteristics of a man. How he treats his parents and family. How he treats/talks about your family. If he's a hard worker or allows what happens in life to define him. Is he gentle? Can he handle the volatility of a woman? Is he responsible?

Take him around children and pretend you're not focusing. How does he interact with them? (Sorry I'm in momma mode). Is he patient and understanding?

I think someone with akhlaaq would have all of the above characteristics in check. Plus more of course.
