THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ENGLISH AND SOMALI

Post by afisoone »

We all know language is conventional. So know let me give the difference between Somali and English.

In English we say adjective before the noun. For example
Green Potato
in Somali we bring the noun first and the adjective next... for example
Baradhadii Cagaarneed
That is why I have argued many times that language is more than talking words. You must know how they use the words. I know one other language that is similar to Somali and that is french. They used the noun first then the adjective next.
