huh? i dont understand....were the parts pictured above originally puntalands/somalia's and somaliland just took it? aren't they sucking in puntaland as well? i wasn't aware of any of this.

There was no such thing as puntland in 1991, the region is wanted by darod state because some of the people living area darood

There is no disputed land.....Somaliland's borders are not up for questioning.

The first map is wrong.

Only Laascaanod is disputed, and it's disputed between two\three wings of the Dhulbahante tribe. The ones who control it right now, are pro Somaliland, it all boils down to internal issues between the clan.
