yea i know my family doesn't do it either..they did in the past though, and I'm sure saudis and the countries around them were notorious for that. idk much about somalis, but according to this site, they've been doing it before islam....and are still doing it today. most people that do it these days in both africa and the middle east are uneducated people that live in the non city areas "badiyo" in somali..

i dont think saudis know fir'ooni. no one even seems to know. even in egypt, its villsge and lower class seems to do.

i thought since somalis now influanced by salafis, they wouldnt do it.

ps; "most" salafis dont even believe sunnah, and they believe for men is sunnah too. they much disagree on male circumcision too. i know qatari families dont even do for their boys. people these days dont do these things.

people civilizing and somalis go back to stone ages!

its just sunnah, cause ibrahim did it when he was very old! its, recommended not obligated.

OHHH omg i always thought anyone who wasn't circumsised was christian...even jews did it. makes a lot of sense.
