Currently,Abdi Mohamed Omer, the president of JigJiga Admistration, acts the role of Ras Mokennem and carries on the interests of the Eithiopia in Somali terrotories as far as Kismayo and now I believe that the reason that Suldan Wabar was claiming on the onset that he has the backing of strong ally or kinship is rooted to Menelik's plan of securing the lands between the latitudes 10th -15th of Somaliland's territory or at least Zaila and Lughaya to have an access to the Red sea.

In fact, it is a worrying thing as far as the Suldan Wabar enjoys the Protection of the Ethiopian Government whether it be JigJiga or Addis Ababa and he sends threats from the border to Somaliland, it could justifiably be concluded that there is a hidden agenda that Ethiopia has under its sleeves and as soon as Ethiopia settles the issue of the ONLF that they asked the the Turkish Government to mediate between them and ONLF, its relations with Somaliland will become less significant,

If Ethiopia does not arrest or deals with Wabar we can easily bring the ONLF into SL , its not really that hard. we can turn a blind eye and allow ONLF to carry their logistics through Somaliland. But i doubt this is even needed do you know why the Ethiopian central govt has no clue who or what wabar is , he is being over hypped. We have far more better cards against Ethiopia. But we have no interest to make ethiopia our enemy

what cards do we have against ethiopia..besides acting as a buffer zone from the terrorists elements that can enter from SL borders...!!..also when it comes to their eternal landlocked position they found multiple roots they can go through instead of putting all their eggs in one box, they have root to port sudan, djbouti,berber, to some extent bosaso,mombasa,and its matter of time when they take over kismayo's port as wel.
besides we r not yet recognised country so we cant give insurance on transporting their goods all across SL.
