I see Somalia written there twice so how is he self hating. Is because he chooses to self identify as Arab? I see nothing wrong with that because Arab is a linguistic- cultural term moreso than a racial one and many Somalis can fit perfectly.

Somalia is part of the Arab league and we have things in common with Arabs such as our nomadic way of life and poetry. But also Islam. I don't see anything wrong with it. I think this phobia of Arabs need to end. Somalis need to stop with this identity crises bulshit. We are Somalis full stop. Being aligned to the Arab world or African world or Global world in general will not remove us from our Somali identity. For fuck sake, we have our own language and culture.
