I lost 3 people I was close to, one passed away in HS, he was only 16. The other 2 died in 20yrs, and 21yrs. We all grew up together and had the same child hood.
Thanks, I had and that's to live your life knowing you can die any day. Nothing is guaranteed in this world, alway be humble.Basra- wrote:GAMER wrote:It's a blessing, it means you have lived a long life.

Aging is what you make of it. If you have a negative attitude towards aging that won't help you, rather it will work against you. Contrary to your opinion I don't think there is a downhill spiral after 30. That is an ageist and sexist assertion. You are also claiming that some Somali women don't wish to (1) live a healthy and active life or (2) think its too late to start lifting dumbbells. That couldn't be further from the truth. It isn't too late, unless you think it is. In the same vein, you can age gracefully as a woman, with a youthful and vivacious attitude about your golden years. That is infinitely more attractive than one that lacks self-assuredness at any age.barbarossa wrote:Basra, the fact you are, at this juncture in your life, pondering such a question, leads one to believe you are, indeed, getting on in years! Unfortunately, contrary to a certain popular held myth, for a female, there is no such thing as aging gracefully. After a Xaliimo peaks at Thirty, it is downhill from there. She has pretty much nothing to look forward to after that, except layers upon layers of calool iyo naaso balaq balaq ah, iyo weji foolxun oo laa laamey, that is it.
