I can't comment on this woman's case......but in the majority of similar cases here in the UK the children 100% deserve to be taken into care.
You have children whose development has been retarded due to neglect eg unable to speak, use toilets, sit down.
Then you have the welfare hagbad mothers....who literally starve their kids, who look half their ages, dirty, no homework etc.

You can't trust most your own people anymore. I don't blame her for being afraid to trust her own people again after what she went through.

Something doesn't add up. If the accusations of child neglect or abuse are fabricated, why don't the parents tell authorities that their neighbors are lying. Authorities will not remove your child unless there is evidence of neglect or abuse. Keyword here is EVIDENCE. Not just accusations or hearsay.

Ina Adeer, I once read here a poll asking about the discipline of children and most used as an analogy of their own upbringing and voted for corporal punishment to have straightened them up and made them into good functional adults and therefore children should be belted. What happens when they smack their kids? The welfare agencies don't just take kids from their homes without evidence of abuse. The problem lies in what is acceptable and what is abuse is lost cross-culturally. I sympathise with any parent who lost their children but the safety and security of children is more important than to their loss.

i agree with you Machiavill. the safety of kids more important than parents' pain or their loss. kids should come first. and governmrnt from experience, they do not care parents' feelings but kids and their safety physically and emotionally.
