Me personally when I read science books I feel calmness and serenity entering my heart. Power is knowledge, I feel great power when I read the physics laws of the universe.

However when I read religious books ie Quran I feel scared, anxious and angry. I feel like I want to go jihad.

Maybe theres something wrong with interprational skills. these books that supposedly tell you, you will go to heaven is not for me I guess.

You talk as if Qur'an and Science are not meant to be with each other, Science has no bias, Science is a means to explain something(s), and the Qur'an encourages scientific exploration with constant verses like " Travel the earth and see how we originated creation" , by the Qur'an the 9th-11th century Muslim scientists contributed alot to modern civilization, in the science of hydraulics, in the science of astronomy, in the science of gravity and in the science of mathematics, if we Muslims did not invent the number 0 then you simply could not have the technology that you have today. What you have today is the name of Islam, it's essence needs to be rekindled, and currently no one is up to task to undertake that.
