Animation movie about Bilal Ibn Rabah

Duabi-based animation studio Barajoun Entertainment released the first trailer for its animated film “Bilal” this week, promising to bring an Black/Arabic Islamic hero to the bring screen. The movie is due to be released this year. Ayman Jamal, producer and managing partner at Barajoun, said the company was inspired by movies on Malcolm X and Gandhi, and wanted to bring a regional hero to life in a similar way.

The new animation movie being produced is about Bilal Ibn Rabah also known as Bilal al-Habashi, Bilal ibn Riyah, and ibn Rabah was one of the most trusted and loyal Sahabah (companions) of the Islamic prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
