Djibouti needs to get rid of French, nobody in the region speaks it.
Almost every country in East Africa mainly uses English as the sole European working language.

French was an empire that colonized countries across the glob.FieldMarshalMenace wrote:They are basically and honestly prostitutes of the French..they never gained independence...Horta frankiisku wa saqajaan he never let go of his old colonial Africa..they hold the strings behind the scenes..Djibouti has a protection guarantee with the French..
Today Somalia and Somaliland are at the beck and call of colonies of the French and bantu who had gorilla brain for breakfast and rinsed it with orangutan piss.

Since when were Rwanda, Burundi, Madagascar and perhaps even Seycheles and Mauritius not part of East Africa.

Rwanda-Burundi = Central AfricaEstarix wrote:Since when were Rwanda, Burundi, Madagascar and perhaps even Seycheles and Mauritius not part of East Africa.
Madagascar = own category or Southern Africa.
Seychelles/Mauritius = insignificant.
Anyhow, French is utterly useless in East Africa. English and Arabic are the dominant foreign languages.

Notice that majority of Africans who have been ruled by Britain got rid of their colonial language but Mr French has left some serious footprint in these slaves

These countries are considered to be part of East and Central geographically. Though they associate with the East more economically.

Re: Gendarmerie of the cesspool/shyte-hole we call Djibouti
French is a neutral language for both afars and Somalis in Djibouti.
It's like that for many multi-ethnic countries that were under colonization, they make the colonizer's language official so no ethnic group can feel dominated.
But Somali Djiboutians also need to keep their Somali language alive because I remember during my stay in Djibouti as a kid my cousins could only speak French and hardly any Somali. The language barrier was the reason why I never really got along with them.
