To all somali women. Somali women have always been the backbone of our society.
Guys, our women are beating us in every aspect; education, business and cohesion. There are some exceptions; halaq, dahab jecel, aroos jecel, sex jihaad, and the occassional qabyaalad woman but all in all our women are
This song (good beat by the way) will certainly become the anthem for Xaawaleeys in the diaspora. Imagine this; you have been participating in a street parliament ( fadhi.ku-dirir) the whole day. You had shaah with your friends, played a few hands of daba-ka-eri and you head home. You open the door to your apartment and walk in majestically and you hear this song.

It has an excellent beat. Since the collapse of Somalia, there have been only a few one hit wonders (e.g. Najma, Dirgax). I am afraid of the message it sends to Xaawaleys; It will be the soundtrack of the bacda madoow phenomenon.
This is a good daadis
P.s. do you celebrate the 8th of March?

Bella, I think the grand muftis of "xaawaleeydu waay kibreen" brigade will issue a fatwa against this song. They will claim that this is the worst thing that happened to women since the onset of washing machines, hoofar (lol), dish machine, diapers etc.
They will be singing this in Canada, Australia and Europe. It used be a s silent ritual before ; dbacda madoow banaanka lagu soo tuuray but now they will even play this song when doing that.
Povero odey somali.

Lamagoodle, sheekada bacdi madoobayd waa la iloobay lakin waa iska heestan oo laa soo casriyeey
Dumarka qarkooda waaba iska ciyaal, midba jar laga tuuray maalin dhowayd. "Tea party" baas ba laysku imid. Heblaayo been baa lagu akhriyeey. "Nayaa hee quruxdaas baa alle ku siiyeey, faarax kuma qalmo... naa iska eri odayga". Poor lady takes their advise and kicks the poor man out. Now she thinks she's all that. Qurux aan jirin baa laga dhaadhiciyeey maskiinta

I was told about the tea parties. I thought ppl were joking. In Europe, there is a new phenomenon; I call it the Tsunami phenomenon. It happens when asylums appliction are rejected. Most somalis who apply for asylum are boat people aka Titanic. I call them Tsunamis. There is a sharp rise in divorces when the Tsumani season comes. The xaajiyada finds a young boat guy, the xaaji finds multiple gashaantos. Ragga sidaay u joogaan ayaay arkaan wiilal yar yar oo gaari ku riixaayo caruurtooda. The xaawaleys put their trophies on display.
All is about sharci doon.... and nuuris doon. win-win
