I thought it was a myth until I heard it with my own ears. Basically somali couples don't sleep on the same bed. The husband sleeps in a different room, he only comes to the wife when he wants to do jiggy wiggy licky icky with her. What kind of life is this? Why marry someone if you are going to act like strangers?
To the married folks is this true? Can you confirm this?

A lot of people do it to get a good night sleep.
30-40% of couples sleeping in different beds or rooms

Only when she is mad.
I know couples who sleep apart. But hey, whateva right!
I know of a woman with 4 kids who swears on her children that she never seen her hubby's woo woo. Weird right.

It doesn't sound half bad to be honest, I am definitely gonna have a spare bed. When I get sick and need to recover, i like my own privacy plus I don't wanna pass cold/flu/stomach bug to her.

It's fun for the first couple of months, but gets boring after a while.
LooL when I sleep, I take up half the bed and busto, but when I know there is someone in bed with me I am very uneasy and don't get a good night's sleep.
So I don't see any problems with it.

There was a study that suggested sleeping apart can save marriages. People are more irritable when they haven't had enough sleep and you can't get enough sleep if your partner snores or if they or you are a bed hogger, they toss and turn or they wake up frequently in the middle of the night.
So if you find yourself snapping at your gacal because you haven't had enough sleep, time to get your own bedroom, so the argument goes....

Waxaad ka hadleysaa nolasha baadiyahay, nolasha dadkii hore ee qarnigii ka horeeyay kuwii walidiinteena iyo nolashada dadka isku dhacsan.
I don't think there is a Somali couple who sleep in different rooms; who have a very strong bond of love. Unless they have issues.

Which research institute do you get your stats from?
OP, I don't blame them. Imagine a fat xaliimo kugu dhuuseysa habeenkii.
