stop labeling people who don't share your racist views as Arab-ass-lickers. the labeling of people as being unpatriotic and self-haters just because they advocate for some restraint in this forum is mendacious. i'm all for showing a healthy amount of patriotism for our country but for that to come at the expense of forthright self reflection and collective apparent racism is slanted.

every group have their share of good people and bad people. to acknowledge that doesn't make one an Arab-Ass-Licker as some of you put it.

I don't understand why Somalis are putting Arabs on a pedestal. Most Arabs are racists and so are Asians, Europeans and Africans. I don't get why some people go great length for defending Arabs.

for the love of god, could you please read before you comment. nobody is putting Arabs on a pedestal. what I'm saying however is, you don't have to show you're a proud Somali by being scornfully abusive to Arabs or anybody else for that matter.

Once I was speaking about the suffering Muslims of Central African Republic and Chechnya, yet no one ever labeled me a "Central African asskisser" or a "Chechen asskisser". But as soon as I even mention what's going on in Palestine and Syria, people have the nerve to call me an "Arab asskisser"

These anti-Arab Somalis are some of the most hysterical and hypocritical people you will ever meet. Their hatred of Arabs is so deep that it permeates their entire worldview.

If a Somali is seen wearing a khamiis to a Somali event, they get all upset and talk about how "Somalis are being colonized by Arab culture"....but yet these same hypocrites wear a suit and tie (which is European culture). They don't see the irony here. If they truly were consistent than they'd wear the Somali macawiis and scarf to a Somali wedding or cultural event.

If a Somali is seen listening to Arabic music....these same Somalis get all hysterical and start getting angry of "Somalis imitating Arabs" yet these hypocrites listen to American rap music and R&B music....which again has nothing to do with Somali culture.

It isn't so much about "preserving Somalinimo" that they care about. Most of these lowlives don't give a shit about Somali culture. They just use "Somalinimo" as an excuse to make a point.
