The death penalty is something I support 100%. If you are found guilty of a capital crime or any crime that carries the death penalty, than u should be summarily executed.

That's why Texas and Virginia are my two favorite states. Unlike other states (liberal) who let inmates sit on death row for 20yrs before they are sent, these two carry out a quick execution without wasting tax payer money.

What do you think about the death row penalty in somalia? Do you think this would eradicate crime?

It's a deterrent and discourages others from committing unlawful homicides if they know they would be executed.

It's not sxb, death penalty serves a good purpose. If the killer wasn't punished by the state, then the victims family would be taking justice to their own hand's. Which would be much worse.

you just proved my point. its just to make family take revenge so they can sleep better.

not too long ago, in kuwait there was 2 somali teenagers, got drunk and one went to kitchen and gor knife and beheaded the other (wo qora'ay). family was asked to take diya, and let him out!

they refused saying: wilkeyga wo dintay, kana wo guursani , wah bo katagi" still in the prison waiting death plantey.

That's another thing, the family shouldn't be able to influence anything. If someone kills another person, then it should automatically became State vs. Killer without any involvement of the victims fam or offering money to the deceased family.

I am glad Somalia has the death penalty and isn't afraid to carry it out.

Beheading is such a cruel way to carry out the death penalty and can turn alot of people off from supporting it.

That's why you gotta use the cirbad (needle), it's way more sanitized and u gently go into that peaceful Hurdo. :)

Hyper somalia is place full of guns mayhem and crime. Without the death penalty it would be even worse than it is. The death penalty is a deterrence. And if the government arrests and convicts the killer this stops a full blown qabil war between the families. Causing more killing.

what do you think about someone innocent who gets executed for a crime they don't commit?

I personally feel no sorrow for someone who 100% killed someone else getting the death penalty BUT the criminal justice system is not perfect. Every year we have guys on death row get freed because exculpatory evidence comes forward whether its DNA or otherwise.

Shouldn't that give you pause?
