Moment of Truth Biixi Yoonis Invites international community to mediate
After 3 years of Talking with our Koonfurian counter parts and the IC initiated the talks between us and them and i said before when the talks eventually fail that the talks will become more interesting and that a 3rd party will be present in the talks. This was SL strategy all along Cigaal strategy was to create a government for the walanweyns he tried with abdi Qasim and later Ina Cumar geele betrayed him. Rayaale focus was to create a strong relationship with the Ethiopians and the AU and he made some strides in the AU. Siilaanyo said we have to talk to the walanweyns though not bad but both cigaal and rayaale believed talks with Somalia only if a 3rd party is present. Siilaanyo held talks for 3 years talks failed and how and now we are moving to the final stage though the walanweyns will try to prolong these talks to but atleast there is a 3rd party present eventually and this means the walanweyns can no longer play dumb and not implement the agreed terms. as they have done before any way the new talks will be in 2016 after September.

I like bixii yuunis walle he showed his ragnimo since these last talks... If ethiopia and kenya mediate these future talks do you think it will bare any fruit? I think the international community realizes there's no going back for somaliland, but how can ethio and kenya further our goal of succeeding by mediating?

MOGADISHU (HOL) ---Two weeks after talks between Somalia's government and the breakaway Somaliland region collapsed, Somaliland's government rejected more talks with Somali government without third party mediations.
Mohamed Bihi Yonis, Somaliland's foreign minister warned the region would boycott more talks with the Somali government, blaming it for the responsibility of the collapse of the Turkish-sponsored talks.
"We are committed in staying away from more talks without third party mediations - we made our positions towards that clear to the international community." He told BBC Somali service on Wednesday.
He suggested IGAD-led mediations for the upcoming talks, referring Ethiopia as the second option.
"We are urging immediate interventions by the international community." He added. Even though the two sides held two previous talks in Djibouti and Turkey, disputes remain up in the air.
No comment could be reached from Somali officials on the latest development. Somaliland which declared a unilateral independence from the rest of Somalia in 1991 has been seeking an international recognition, however, their efforts haven't so far proved successful.

The Kulmiye government was wrong when it decided to speak to Somalia. You do not talk to someone who claims you and your home. Nonetheless I'm glad the talks ended.
The Walaweyn calaacal as usual, using the ''Somali'' card and fake history while blaming Somaliland for the failures of their government.
I hate the nonsense they regurgitate..''Somali ayaa wada hadlaya''. Wadankoodi bay ku heshiin kari laayihiin markaasey Somali oo geeska Afrika oo dhan degta ka hadlayaan. Talk about misplaced priorities.

Nah, they're trying to discredit Somaliland when they say ''Somali baa wada hadlaya''. The question is, Somalidee? Ma kuwa Ceel Sheikh iyo Ceel Baraf jooga ayaa wada hadlaya mise kuwa Ceel dhaab iyo Ceel Karri? Who are these Somalis they're talking about.
It hurts them to say ''laba dal ayaa wada hadlaya'' even though that's the reality because Walaweyns today, just like in 1960, wants to dominate and monopolize Somaliweyn but also the term Somali. It's one of the reasons why their president calls himself Madaxweynaha Somaliyeed when he can't set foot in towns and districts of his own Somalia let alone places in Somaliland, K5 or Djibouti. It's one of the reasons why they call Somalia, ''wadanka Somaliyeed'' or Mogadishu ''Caasimada Somaliyeed''.

Perhaps, as Ive said before, this was Somalilands intention all along.Khalid Ali wrote:Yeaah Siilaanyo believes that he could talk sense to the Koonfurians he was shown that its imposible with out Europeans and others or other Africans in between us Somaliland and Somalia will never agreee ha dhakhleyso we knew this perhaps siilaaanyo knew this to but he wanted to try.

Both sides are so deeply entrenched in their opposite positions that it was clear to every one, including all of us in here, that neither would budge and give in to the other. It must have been just as obvious to the Somaliland government so why do it unless the aim was to induce international mediation.
If and when it comes to mediation Somaliland wins because international law supports our case.

dont worry guys, siilanyo is part of a soft older generation who still feel some kind of way about wanlawein. few more years and these elders will pass away. then the real game starts. most under 30 dont care about wanlwein, 40s remeber the battles and the 50s too. s

LooL the same International Community would have given you a recognition a long a time ago. But this is just more of the same RIYO.
You are part of Somalia, the sooner u accept that, the better.

Games a question as an cadcad why do you wish to unite with an isaaq from hargeysa?
Re: Moment of Truth Biixi Yoonis Invites international community to mediate
Ummm, what does that have to do with anything? Who mentioned Qabiil?
I am really a fair guy, if u can show Somalis even just 1 country (could be Kilinka 5naad, Djibouti) that recognizes you, then we'd throw you a big dabaal dag and party and wish you a farewell.
Otherwise, dadkiina dhinac karaaca or otherwise riyo Hurdo iskaga jir.
