Establishing ties with fellow horners...
I have an idea to represent my beesha and go deep into the danakil to establish ties with the warrior afar nomads, they will make good future allies.

Not long ago we resembled our cousins over in the Danakil, before we became urbanized

Afars are one of the most backwards Horners. They still live like they did 100 years ago, barely any modernization.

Ad -Cali is the name the Issa Somali tribe calls the afar , because the Afar have a confederation in the West of Djibouti that is called Adali
The afars are like the somalis , they have the same stories of an outside mythical origin and the local more ancient rootage.
Good people

Re: Establishing ties with fellow horners...
Most Afars in Djibouti do not speak Somali.

False ! Afars are North and South . Southern afars have the somali Issa as neighbours and intermarry . No2 in an urban environment like Djibouti ville , everybody understands/speaks somali . It doesn't make the somali better or superior to anyone it is just how it is

I have been to Djibouti several times. The Afar there just know very basic Somali words, but can't speak it. Majority of them just speak French and Afar only.SahanGalbeed wrote:False !
