The dead Somali leaders.

Post by sadeboi »

I just want to say to you guys in good faith, do no curse or insult dead people, whether Siyaad Barre, Caydiid, Cigaal, Abdulahi Yusef, or any dead person, leader or not, Somali or not, let them meet their Lord for their deeds. You can speak of injustices or wrongs they have, you cam criticize them and their policies, but do not use foul words and curse words at the dead. Fear Allah people, stop using foul words to describe people, tribes, and other nations, specially if they are no longer a part of our world.

Salaams.

i agree to a certain extend, insulting dead person for muslims is not ok, they are answering for their deeds to allah as we speak. but we can discuss and talk about their actions

As noble as your suggestion sounds, I think you are asking a bit too much of us, Skinnies. Qabiil-induced emotions are, by their very nature, very hard to control; so, for someone to bring up-often out of the blue, mind you- a name like Siyad Barre, AUN, and expect a Qowdhan or Shuun from Somaliland, to participate in the discussion without displaying a great deal of emotional outbursts, (usually in the form of insults) is unrealistic as it gets, in my humble opinion.

To make matters worse, more often than not, these subjects, are initiated, for no other reason, it seems, than to instigate others in engaging in one of our customary fadhikudirir sessions. The best way to spare a deceased controversial public figure undue insults, is not bring him up for discussion in the first place, specially, in a place as unruly as Snet. Always, bear in mind, while a leader may be, to you, a saint , he is, but the devil incarnate, to someone else, depending on the Somali delicate system of clan affiliation.

The irony..

Belittling others as being driven by qabiil induced emotions and here you are calling for peace upon an individual that hired foreign mercenaries and Somali soldiers to kill men, women and children just because they hailed from a certain clan.

Barbarossa, you can speak on his wrongdoings, and say he was a horrible person or bad leader, and express your views. I'm just speaking about the curse and foul words people use against dead people. I have extremely negative views of Caydiid and his policies, but I will not say curse words when speaking of him.

Xildiid, barbarossa is Isaq I believe, read his post again, you misunderstood him.

I understood his post (and his subliminal message) perfectly.

I could care less about his clan affiliation but I know for a fact that he's not Isaaq.

Xildiid, my bad I assumed he was Isaq. I understand know why you think it was an subliminal insult. Dadka kama weynaadan miya cey iyo aflagado. I am no saint, political I support my qabil (except xaqdarro, but come on Sade can do no wrong lol) , but I don't like insults and what not. Argue and disagree respectfully is my belief.

You have a point, nonetheless my post was intended for this 'Holier than thou' man/woman who has written similar comments before. Comments full of subliminal insults.

This individual belittles my people as a group driven by qabiil induced emotions without even trying to understand the underlying factor for their anti Kacaan stance.

Doroos are beneath me , is that insulting ? or factual

Anigu waxaan aaminsanahay in somaalidu kala horreyso . Waxayna ku kala horreysa oo keliya midnimadda/ kalgacalka / ka kala dhexeeya ururyadan dadku QABA'IL u baxsheen .
Ilaah baa meel ina wada dhigay , everyday na , mission no -1 ka yagu waa midnimadda reerahayaga .Midnimadayadu ku ma xidhna cid kale .Daaroodku haddu baaba'o , we'll be the same , Hawiye haddu boqor noqdo na , we will be the same .
No habar awal baa ka ilko cas , habar yoniis baa kaa bidhiidhi , habar jeclo kaa badhabdha . Ciidan u diyaar ah baynu leenahay ka hor tagga cawaan-ka , bal skywalker idinku ba u fiirsada sidu usoo jilcay saw arki maysaan ?

Maalinta heerkaas gaadhan baynu isu soo noqon doona , haddu Ilaah yidha

Sahan, Darood was Qoomiyad oo degen intaas oo dhul. From sool, sanaag, bari, nugaal, mudug, galguduud, bakool, gedo, jubada hoose, jubada dhexe, in kilinka from dhegaxbuur to nageyle in the south, and all over NFD, marka adeer, Darood waa dad badan oo dhul badan, meel islama wada dagaan. Heck Marehan ba 5 meel kala dhegto. Do not compare unity of Isaq oo naga yar meelne ku wada jirro to Darood. We are Ogaden, lelkase, Warsangali, Dhulbahante, Majeerteen, GeriKoombe, Awrtable, Marexan and more. So look at those those individuals and la hadal, ha la hadlin Darood oo dhan.
