Wallahi I have a lot of admiration for this lady .
So the germans tell the greeks to get their act together right? What do they do ?
The Greeks { all them southern europeans are as emotional as ... } come back accusing her of behaving like a nazi when in fact she grew up in East {communist} Germany. So the story is when Greek was occupied by the nazi they took money from the Greek bank and killed many people . Now for the dead , Alle ha u naxariisto , for the money the Greeks right after ww2 benefited from the "marshall" plan and then got their money back from the germans once they were back on their feet .

So what's the problem you say ?
The greeks are essentially saying { I dunno the technical word} the money the Germans confiscated would be worth XYZ in today's $$ which is of course a lot more than what they already got back .

Wallahi these guys are gonna take themselves out of the European Union , watch !

The money they're asking for amounts to 278 billion Euros. No way is Germany gonna pay that up. Greece needs a financial reform with their banks, an economic reform where they cut down on spending and a bureaucratic reform where they cut down on corruption and taxes are collected and are always accounted for, at the moment the system they are running is badly sub standard.

Wasn't it the German's fault for being mislead by firms and speculators into lending irresponsibly in the first place?
