:stylin:

We already received the funds 8-)

Central state process will take 40 days

Hiiraan and middle shabelle conference is scheduled to be held in baladweyne next mojnth

The process will start on 1st may

All this banadir sheeko was rubbish!

Actually there was big conspiracy against xamar as many circles were supporting this idea of her joining this federal state

The conspiracy adds that these circles, in this case, would have supported moving the capital to baydhabo!

I have said long time that the status of the capital will be the last to be discussed after the process of the federal states comes to end

So dont jump earlier!

Given the fact that 1/5 of Somalia's population resides in Banadir, it will likely be granted special status with its voting representation and allotted electoral votes rivaling, if not surpassing any member state. Practically a federal state in all but name. It's beyond me why some locals would want to merge it and diminish it in stature.

Yeah its the most likely option to take place.

Not all reer banadir support merging it with this federal state but they call for having its own autonomy.

The other option is the special status.

A lot of shisheeye have been recently supporting this merger in the hope to change the capital to baydhabo.

Sahal,

I have seen you deliberately mislead and lie when it comes to Banadir. You do this partly to suit your delusions of this idea of Hiiraan you have created in your head and partly because you are a tribal minded lunatic who hides behind some random Arabic phrases.

The constitution allows Banadir three options. One of the options is for Banadir to merger with a different Federal State, the other option calls for the creation of a Federal Capital Territory within Banadir Region that will host the Federal Government while the rest of the region can merger with a neighboring federal member state. The final option which you repeatedly obscure and misrepresent is for Banadir Region to become its own Federal Member State and also calls for the creation of a Federal Capital Territory to be managed by the Federal Government and Banadir a Region. You have time and again misrepresented this option to mean that the whole of Banadir region will become a capital city which will have no role in the Federal Process. Time and again, you deliberately confuse Mogadishu with Banadir region As I have said before and others have echoed my views too, you are driven by clan paranoia and clan hatred which drives you to present your laughable delusions as some sort of a fact.

In the future, it will help if you read the constitution objectively and put aside your clan animosities.

Banadir will not be given any special status. It will become its own Federal Member State as the constitution allows. Don't become victim to Sahal's deluded xawaadle fantasies

Re-read the constitution. It does not allow Benadir to be a federal state, but the option of becoming a Federal Capital Territory, sort of like Abuja in Nigeria. It would have representation in the Upper House, but would not be equal with the federal states. Nowhere in the constitution does Benadir get a way out of the "two or more" states requirement.

hes referring to the constitution draft under review.

Rovingmadness

Thanks for the clarification

I didnt understood the option three as a federal state thats why i said having an autonomy of its own.

The Draft constitution has changed some things on the judiciary but that is about it. The constitutional committee has not dared touch the federal state requirements and the rules of federation. It will take at least another year before gudiga madaxbanaan even gets to discussing those sections of the draft constitution.

Benadir is a gobol, before it is the capital. The rules of Federation applying to any gobol also apply to Benadir.

Go back and read the constitution and the options it provides Banadir. Banadir is the only region exempt from the 2-state or more rule.

What I am saying is that under no circumstances will Benadir have equal representation as a federal state. It will have some representation in the upper house of course, but it will not be equal in representation to Koonfur Galbeed or Jubaland.

Loool walee Daroods are taking a while to swallow this, why would at 2 million Somalis have some representation and not all? and is it the lower house they will be represented in or upper, it gets confusing watching you mofos change your minds so lol, but its happening and there is nothing ilma jabarti can do about it.

Political Judo the art of using the strength of federalism and throwing it right back on the traitorous quislings that came up with the idea!!

2 million

It doesn't actually matter because Central State is 1.5 gobols and will not have full representation either. If you think that the people of Jubaland and Koonfur Galbeed, each with 3 populus gobols, will have the same representation as 1.5 Central State you are sorely mistaken.

Looking at the debate in this thread has me laughing at the irony.

Arguing about the future of a 'Somalia' when the truth is it is all about Tolka. Why not follow Somaliland's path and keep it real? Split up as there is no love loss.
