clarification

Post by AfricanTutsi »

Hi guys, as my pseudonym shows, I am not Somali. I am Tutsi from Rwanda. Before you rant at me or throw judgements, I must inform you that i am inquiring information for my curiosity. I have heard multiple times Tutsis' history being associated to Somalia many centuries ago. Upon a few acquaintances I have realized how much we have in common. poetry, heroic tales, and patriotism are some elements i have identified so far. However, Upon listening to your tradition folklores and music, i was struck by a blend of your drumming patters that we too have.

My question is: do you see any similarities between Tutsis and Somalis? (FYI I am a proud Tutsi, just seeking to know more about african brothers)

Mods move back this guy thread to general section
as for op yes somalis and tutse share some similarities one being 2-3 year before the rewanda genocide happened in rewanda samething happened in somalia where the hutu looking hawiye were targeting and exterminating the darood tribe(who look more human and are more educated) with similar storyline as rewanda :geek: you seem to only know black hawk down but the people who live in the capital got done with exterminating civilians when that happened not many people know this outside of somalia :geek:
