iran has suggested to the syrian defense minister whos visiting there that the only solution to save the regime is to move the capital to tartus an alawite coastal district thats close to latakia the regions capital
lol theres the connection between the alawite sect and the christians

a syrian opposition figure has confirmed getting warned by the west to not attack the coatal region after the bbc revealed this in an interview with him
