If Somaliland was still part of Somalia. VOTE!

The president would have been Waqooyi and would have led the nation into stability, Somalia would be a developing nation.

The president would have been Waqooyi, developing nation. Djibouti would join by referendrum, NFD annexed. DDSI= disputed region.

Even worse, same clan duopoly, now the northern clans would have been part of the downfall and the suffering would be greater.

No foreign occupation, no Al Shabaab. Northern Somalis are good at diplomacy, as history has shown.

Somalia would have been bombing Yemen with Saudi Arabia.

It's all a dream. The Walawayns are full of lies, deceit and chauvinism. They wouldve dragged Somaliland to the floor as history has shown.

[POLL]If Somaliland was still part of Somalia.

Post by RoobleAlWaliid »

If Somaliland never decided to secede and declare itself independent, how would Somalia or Somaliland(the northern lands) have been?
Hypothetically speaking. Let's say the northern Somalis never decided of seceding and from 1991 and on were heavily involved in the politics of Somalia. How would the future have been?

If Somaliland didn't dissolve the union, there wouldn't be a civil war and Somalia wouldn't be the laughing stock of the planet

Methamorphosis, get your head out of your ass! Somaliland is a nation, waa rabitaanka shacabka, no one can take that from them. All they need is recognition,Somaliland gained it's independence in 1960 and again in 1991 from Somalia. Somaliland is a country even though a map might tell you otherwise.

The world is changing drastically, countries are trying to colonize Mars and here you are concentrated on Somaliland, while your own people lack basic necessities and basic infrastructure in 2015! The walawayns hav no sense of responsibility. They lost that when the northern Somalis left, i.m.o.

How does a country gain independence twice? Try and make some sense before you purge next time. Sure the world is conquering mars and other plantets and here you are dreaming. You want to break away from a country because you were shelled. Tell us any clan that did not get shelled and lose people in the civil war? If anything you eydoors should be the last ones to complain about civil war ramifications because I think everyone else suffered more than you folks. The eydoor side of the country was almost untouched by the calamity that befell on Southern Somalia and other clans. yet you do not see anyone saying let's form our own country. The entire eydoor clan needs to be treated for cuqdad because clearly you guys are sick.

Sigh :eat: . Most of the ramifications/calamities they inflicted upon themselves, you can't compare the 2. You can't compare the shelling committed by the previous regime at the hand of the army, to the shelling/atrocities committed by warlords or Al Shabaab post-1991. I mean were the Walawayns not intelligent enough to hold reconciliations and to co-exist? I mean how hard can that be? The Walawayns shot themselves in the foot, instead of picking up the pieces like the Northerners and moving forward, they were sabotaging each other for decades and pleasing their foreign occupiers. The Walawayns smile at the taught of Somaliland burning to the ground, the only Somali region free of foreign occupation, while they get stomped by Kenyan or Ethiopian forces.

The amount of inferiority complex in this dude and his fellow Cagdheer is ridiculous.

Somaliland was never part of Somalia so the whole idea of "secession" is ludicrous. Somaliland just like Somalia was a constituent state of the Somali republic. Somalia has no right to represent the Somali republic or Somaliland because Somalia is not the sole legitimate representative.

Secondly the whole campaign of liberating Somaliland started in 1961 with the unsuccessful coup. It took a year for my people to realize their mistake yet in the 70's they abandoned their well being just like they abandoned their sovereignty in 1960 for the greater good of all Somalis. My people took a lions share of liberating 'Somali Galbeed & Hawd' in the 70's. Godey (Col. Askar) Qabridahare (Col. Cali Xuseyn) and Wardheer (Col. Koosaar) were liberated by Isaaq. The African liberation committe was spearheaded by Isaaq, both the chairman and the colonel in charge of training liberation forces were Isaaq.

Even though we sacrificed more than any other Somali clan for the elusive "Somalinimo"..

In the 80's, the northern parts of the Somali republic in particular Isaaq dominated areas were subjected to state terrorism. Not only did the regime fund the brutal campaign of the army, they funded foreign mercenaries Rhodesian pilots to destroy the lives of innocent people. Find me another city that was leveled to the ground or where 50.000 of its civilians perished in 4 days. Show me paramilitary groups similar to HANGASH and Dabargoynta Isaaqa that persecuted other clans.

The men I listed above who liberated crucial districts in the 77 war were all mujjahids of the SNM and the SNM was created to counter the extirmination policy of the regime.

The ridiculous notion that we're seceding because of cuqdad is laughable. Just because we're not partaking in the 'blue flag waving', 'Somaliyeey tooso singing', 'using foreign militaries to subjugate fellow Somalis and achieve clan goals' type Somalinimo doesn't mean we suffer from cuqdad.

We sacrificed an entire state for the greater good of Somalis and today we're busy recreating our country with the aim of regaining our long lost sovereignty.

We could care less about your opinions or the fact that your people are still enslaved in Kilil 5 and NFD. The recreation of the first Somali state to gain independence i.e Somaliland, began in 18 May, 1991 and there's nothing you can do about it. Just cry on the internet and write "eydoor" like the Doofaar Ismaaciil cunt you are.

You are too emotional to make sense. You guys had plenty of time to break away and become a country before the civil war. You are trying to become a country because your people are weak and cannot tolerate a beat down. Everybody got a karbash in the civil war and the only ones who complain and dig out animal bones crying genocide are your folks. It is embarrassing seeing men in their 60s tear up like that on national television. Have some shame and quit perpetuating the shame of your ilk.

Daarood ku fuul kaama dego, daayin abidkaaye

Intaad dunida nooshahay anunbaa, duudka kaa rarane

Dacay adag waxaan kuugu xidhay, daalinbaad tahaye

Haddaan dabarka kaa furi lahayn, amaanu kaa dayno

Duunyadii waraabuhu cuniyo, daayacbaad noqone

Dalanbaabiyahow meel xunbaad, dalaq tidhaahdaane

Nin Amxaaro Daafida u karin, amase Doofaarka

Dabeecuu u leeyahay Isaaq, gaalo daba jooge
