Juba-Daalo increase fares on destinations in Puntland

Post by thegoodshepherd »

Diyaaraddaha Jubba Airways Iyo Daallo oo laga Cawday

Tan iyo intii diyaaraddii Africa Express joojisay duulimaadyaddii ay ku tegi jirtay wadanka Soomaliya waxaa bilaamay tacdi badan oo ay geysteen labadda shirkadood ee ku hadhay suuqa ee Jubba Airways iyo Daalo oo dhowaan isku biiray hal kembanina wada noqday inkastoo mid waliba sii wado duulimaadyadeeda caadiga ahaa. Labadan shirkadood oo ku caan baxay shaqo xumo ay ku jirto

1-Daahid saaid ah

2-Shaqaalahooda oo aan kasban macaamishooda

3-cabasho saaid ah oo shacabaynaha isticmaalaa had iyo gooraale ka sheegtaan cuntada

4-Qiime aad u sareeya

Ka soo qaad bishan May 2015 oo ay bilaami doonaan shacabweynihii qurbajoogta Soomalida ee u safri jiray Soomaliya waxaa qiimihii la kordhiyay 35%. waxaa lagu raaci jiray sanad ka hor diyaaradaha ka tegay Dubay sida soo socota

1-Dubai ilaa Mogadishu $500

2-Dubai ilaa berbera $500

3-Dubai ilaa Bosaso $550

Maanta waxaa lagu raacayaa sida soo socota

1-Dubai ilaa Hargaysa $650

2-Dubai ilaa Muqdishu $650

3-Dubai ilaa Garowe $750

4-Dubai Ilaa Galkacyo $750

Akhristoow hadaad eegto qiimayaasha kor ku xusub waxaa kuu soo baxaya in dadka reer garowe iyo Gaalkacyo laga qaado qiimo ka sareeya meelaha kale ee ka fog sida muqdisho. ka soo qaad Dubai ilaa Garowe waxay isku jiraa 2009km halka Dubey ilaa Muqdishu isku jiraan 2798KM iyo weliba Dubay iyo Hargaysa isku jiraan 2115KM

Mar Widhwidh Online raadsay tirada dadka u kala safara Dubay iyo Garoowe waxaa loo sheegay inay ay is celceliyaan kuwa Hargaysa aad iyo kuwa Garoowe iyo Gaalkacyo taga. hadabba maxay ku mutaysteen shacabka reer Garowe iyo Gaalkacyo iyo weliba magaalooyinka u dhow dhow sida Boosaso iyo Laascaanod in la saaro qiime ka sareeya magaalooyinka kale.

waxaana loo aaneynayaa maamulka Puntland iyo weliba shacabka goboladaas oo aan ka hadlin qiimahan aan la qaadan karin waxaana looga fadhiyaa rugta ganacsiga ee Puntland inay diyaaradan ka qaado talaabo si ay u samayso “fair play in business”.

Is barbardhiga ka tegida Dubay adoo aadaya Kenya, Yurub iyo Soomaliya
Markaad joogto Dubai waxaad ku raaci kartaa diyaarad ka wanaagsan Jubba iyo Daalo $ 330 inaad ku tagto Nairobi oo ka fog Muqdishu Hargaysa, Garoowe.
Waxaad kaloo ku tegi kartaa London markaad raacdo Gulfair $580 oo ka jaban intaad ku tegi lahayd Soomaliya.

Haddaba diyaaradahan ay Soomalidu ku dhiigshiilayso Soomaalida waa in dib loo eegaa haddii kale loo baneeyaa suuqa diyaaradaha kale ee soo geliya si shacabku u helo shaqo wanaagsan iyo qiimo jaban loogana baxaa.
I think that the government of Puntland should mandate that prices in Puntland are equal to those elsewhere in Somalia, or ban them altogether from landing in Puntland airports.

Both Hargeisa and Mogadishu have larger populations and more returnees from abroad
plus they have paved runaways that can accommodate any-type of plane. It's no
brainier why they would raise the price on Garowe or Galkacyo.

Supply and demand..It's the free-market at work.

I will not engage in pointless population debates.

Rajo Air, a Puntland based airline offers flights from Dubai-Bosasso $290 and Dubai to Galkacyo $350. That is a difference of $260 and $400.
They are obviously overcharging Puntites because they have so much market share.

Once Bosaso and Garowe airports are completed, hopefully Puntland will give monopoly to Rajo Air.
We must have a policy of supporting home-grown companies.

There are no paved runways anywhere in Boosaaso, Garoowe or Gaalkacyo, so people flying into those cities from Dibadaha have to transfer to smaller planes that land on those airstrips.

What I don't understand is, Boosaaso and Garoowe haven't seen even 1 day of fighting in all its entirety and escaped the civil war unscathed, but have no Paved airports or any other stuff.

So don't blame the airlines, blame yourselves for not having the necessary infrastructure in place.

lol if this Rajo air you speak of really had those low prices then what is stopping people from
using it instead of the other two? They should have zero market share in Puntland if that was
the case. Something is not adding up.

@Games they can't be blamed for not having the necessary infrastructure because
both Hargeisa and Mogadishu had their airports built by foreign countries.

I love how you constantly try to pass off your own opinions and beliefs as irrefutable facts. First of all, Bosaso was the center of the AIAI conflict in the early 90s so it did see plenty of fighting. Secondly, all of the large airports that currently exist were built by the Kacan, not the people of Mogadishu and Berbera, just like the ports there were built by the Barre regime.

Not all...Hargeisa's airport was tiny before the war. All the upgrades and renovations seen today were done by SL governments.

There are no direct flights to Puntland from Dubai. They always fly via Hargeisa or Mogadishu, this means they have to use two different planes so of course it makes financial sense to charge the fuel for the other plane.

You can use Rajo but still it's going to go to Berbera, Hargeisa or Mogadishu.

$650 is not worth on Daallo or Jubba. I rather take Ethiopian to Hargeisa.
