A TRIBUTE TO THE SYRIAN ARAB ARMY

Post by 26June1960 »

The men and women in the Syrian Armed Forces who have been defending their country, families and homes against foreign fighters from all over the world for the past 4 years + deserve recognition. Before 2011, Syria was in peace. The 5 million or so the "United Nations" allegedly claims that are refugee were living in their homes in Syria peacefully. The 300,000 people that died in the last 4 years, were alive 4 years ago, living and working peacefully.

(Below are numbers from Wikipedia. The numbers cannot be independently verified, therefore do your own research)

Over 100,000 Syrian Soldiers have died since 2011.
Over 1,000 Syrian government officials were killed since 2011.
Approximately 7,000 Syrian Soldiers have been captured by Anti-Syria elements fighting against the government of Syria since 2011.

I wouldn't call killing civilians and bombing whole neighborhoods an honorable thing.

Rubbish. Your BBC narrative on the situation is played out.

But that's what they are doing sxb. Have u not seen the videos? Where Alawite Assad soldiers backed by Hezbollah and Iranian mercenary fighters goto Sunni cities and systematically kill everyone.

The Assad family has ruled Syria since the 1950's and people got fed up with it. You wouldn't want that in Somalia, would you? To have one ruler passing the presidency to his sons?

Exactly.

The Syrian Army consists a majority of Sunni Syrians. There is no sectarian conflict in Syria. It's Syrians vs Non-Syrian combatants from all over the world, infiltrating neighborhoods, towns and cities to destabilize Syria and create 100 years of sectarian rift between Syrians.

I rather live in peace with one ruler for 2,000 years than live in turmoil. Somalia had a stable government consisting of all Somalis, but it was overthrown by Somalis with the help of foreign entities. There had to be a reason why foreign entities wanted the Kacaan government to be overthrown, just like why foreign entities want Bashar Assad to be overthrown.

LeJusticier, are wrong on that sxb. Not everything is a western, Saudi conspiracy. The average Syrian on the street could careless about those things.

They want their freedom and don't want Alawites who make up 16% of the population ruling over them for more than a half century.

I bet you'd be crying a different tune if it was Siyaad Bare doing it.

This is 2015 and there are no places for dictatorships, Assad and his family has already robbed the country and should've left in peace and held elections.

But like all other dictators, they think they are the smartest people who have all the answers and can rule the country.

As fucked up as Somalia is, even they at least go through a change of leadership, because no red blooded Somali would accept a Keligiis taliye.

If these takfiris are against dictatorship as you put it, then why aren't they going into Saudi Arabia and overthrowing the Saud dynasty? Again, your BBC and Al-Jazira narrative is played out.

Saudi Arabia is number one oppressive countries in the world. It oppresses its own people, and spreads Wahhabist hatred and terror around the world.

You are comparing Apple to Oranges, two totally different things.

Assad should've peacefully left when he had the chance and saved his country the trouble and the destruction it's going through. Should've stepped down like all other Arab dictators in the middle east.
