Anyone with Saving Money Experience

Post by Sumubaridi »

Team,

I would like to save up about $20,000 before ramadhan 2016 insha allah. I work and have an income but I am so weak in saving money. If I get $500, it will be gone before the next paycheck. Any tip on how to save money? Folks call me from africa and I don't know how to say No. That is where most of my money goes.

Hook the brother up with some tip. if you don't have experience, just don't mislead with assumption and guessing. I need the experts on this subject.

Hagbad/ayuuto is perfect for people like you. When people from Africa call you, you can just tell them u can't send them anything because lacagtii hagbadda ayaa lagaa sugayaa. It gives u the perfect excuse and also makes sure u save a lot of money.

I have similar problems. I suppose setting up an interest-free savings account with a monthly direct debit or joining a hagbad/ayuuto would be a good place to start.

What's your annual income? Saving is not something you do spontaneously, it's a learned habit.

You start out doing little, and just get into that habit. If you want to save $20k, than you should have started a long time ago.

With your monthly expenses adding up to $23,580 for the year (assuming $150/month for food,) if you were to save every penny of that $7,620 left over, in two years you would still be far shy of your goal.

Your best bet is a second job. Uber, dishwasher, security, what have you.

PS, Hagbad is only worth it if you get the money sooner rather than later and with your goal a ways away just save it yourself and forget the hassle.

Only save 10K, put it into a good forex signal system and it will double in ~2 years. This is high risk though, but frequently pays off.

Option 1: A severe personal austerity measure...hagbad/ayuuto.
Option 2: Generate income

Dedicate as much thought and time into amplifying your funds as you will to saving it.

Perhaps save $5000 by years end, improvise and enterprise with it. If you really put your mind to it, with relatively sound judgement, doubling or tripling that amount by mid next year is well within your reach. Just think man...

Good luck

What GeoSeven said. And $80 a month for Internet? That's a lot of money, to be paying for Internet.

If u really wanna save money, then u have to know how to drive a hard bargain. Dadka waa lala gor gortamaa, and ask look around for better deals.

Your current living expenses are ridculous. It makes hitting your target impossible why don't you move in with hoyo or familyً if that's possible, join some serious hagbad then bob's your uncle. Good luck.
