Yes this is a qabil thread . I want find to find out who on this forum reside in Canada and is Isaaq. I think I might have a bunch of questions from them. So far i have 5 members in my mind, But i would still would like to know who on this forum reside in Canada and is Issaq. So just give me a free pass with this thread. If it gets out of control i will understand if you delete it but i think this thread will be beneficial to me.

Methylamine - Are you satisfied where you located? Do you see yourself there in 10- 30 years from now raising a family and stuff? did you see yourself going some where else and why?

Methylamine - What is the community like where you live? Is there islamic school for kids? What is the Somali presence there like? What type of Somali Businesses are there? Is there a mosque filled with Somali people? I am curious

There's two. One that teaches Kindergarten to Grade 12 and is run by a Somali principal and administration. Not the best school, but there's been some success stories. The other is from Kindergarten to Grade 8, and was rated best elementary school in the city last year. Run by Arabs, but I think there's a few Somali teachers

Around 10,000 Somalis. There's some areas with high concentrations of them, but were mostly spread out.

Some restaurants, Dahabshiil, a few hilib xalaals, a couple income tax/accounting services, and some beauty salons. There was a Somali mall, but I haven't been there in ages

There's a huge masjid that's run by and filled with Somali people. It's a nice place but it's on the opposite side of town from where I live
