Shia and Christianity

Post by Sumubaridi »

I don't understand why somalis are so obssessed with Shia coming to Muqdisho while we have thousands of black and white christians floating on the ocean and Sea in Xamar. Is Shia so epidermic mise its because they are not sponsored by the west?. Atleast shia warship allah and accept the prophet but Christians don't accept allah and the Prophet. Double standard miyaa? And why are only shia spreading their sects in Muqdisho? is this a plot by other clans trying to set Hawiye up with God?

Even when it comes to yowmul qiyama there is no escaping qabiil haye

I think the reason why people would be so harsh is because it's foreign and it hasn't been classified as "other" yet. This is the process by which Somalis as a community decide whether to accept or reject this coming influence. Everyone already knows that Christians are "gaalo" but I am not sure many people in Somalia know about Shia Islam, what it is and how it differs from what they already believe. Same way aqwaan muslimiin became ingrained into society without many people realising it was Wahabism

The outrage is good, it will promote dialogue

ps inshaAllah it will change in the future but so far Mogadishu is the only relevant city in Somalia. Unless they have built mosques in tulooyinka but no one has reported it yet :lupe:

Those iranian NGOs are just wasting their time and money. People in Xamar are the most conservative somalis in the world. I think they would get some results in Djibouti, SL and PL as 95% of somali gaalos are from there.
