Are there electoral benefits from this? This isn't the USA where there is a large Jewish lobby, ultra conservative christians trying to bring on the rapture, and a lot of white people being force fed shit information.

There in canada it seems like a lot of Muslims who typically dislike Israel, a lot of Asian people who are typically very apathetic towards religious affairs, and a lot of white people who are more and more fed up with Harper's continual disregard for the charter to right and Freedoms.....

Maybe it's just the circles I'm in but I don't see a lot of people viewing this favorably
