Do you think that the rebels can fight ISIS and the regime at the same time??
Do you think that the rebels can keep the gains they have made in Daraa and idlib??
thanx sxb
the srongest syrian rebel group is ahrar al sham and they mainly operate in idlib along side with the coalition of army of conquest wich includes al nusra the second strongest group and the free syrian army
the nature plays its role too in every region
for example in qalamoun its an an open mountainous region so the opposition cant keep their new lands bc of the airstrikes
the regime has strong shia base on the west side of the country from qalamoun to homs due to the lebanons backing specially hizpullah and the druze of lebanon
the opposition lacks save pasage due to isis control most of the borders but now having secured jisr al shugour they got the turkish backing so they r stronger in this area besides its natural frosts
as for darca, the opposition in there r mainly tribesmen operating under the sfa...I think they r weaker but may get better weapons from saudi arabia
they have secured save passage to jordan and r still waiting some military aid and coordination with the army of conquest
there jaysh al islam and other islamist groups in damascus, they r doing well as they pushed back assad forces to their bases in the last week
alawites r evacuating damascus each day
the qalamoun front has turned into kodhofo ka dhaqaaq bc of the airtrikes, a lot of hizbullah commanders and soldiers have been killed
the opposition have evacuated one village due to hizbullah attacking them from behind through the lebnanese borders so they pushed back themselves abit tactically along side the borders in order to be in secure position
but they have alot of vollages specially in the east of qalamoun
there r rumours of isis joining this front or stopping their war with the rebels bc of the shia involvement but not yet has been confirmed bc they had been at war in the last weeks
anyways the regime is losing in the northwest and now the rebeles r at the gates of the alawite villages
this is more important bc the regime will not dare to bomb them and even if he tries it will cause a division among the alawites
all what the regime is saying about attacking jisr sl shughr is probaganda they r still far from it and there are alot of barries before the town that r under the rebels control
