Sahal, don't beat him like some guys are suggesting you. It is typical when fresh people come from backhome, they are not used to scaapulo life. In Somalia, there was no scaapulo who cooks their food at home. They only share rooms where the only thing in there were beds. In the rest of East Africa, they hired housemaids who are paid $50 or a little bit more per month whose job is only to clean the house and perhaps wash the clothes.

Well, the irony is, when these scaapulo come to the diaspora, they can't afford hiring house maids, they can't afford eating outside 3 meals a day, so they have no choice but to cook the food at home. Since they have never done cleaning in their lifetimes, they tend to be messier. And once you tell them to do the cleaning on their part and keep reminding them, they get defensive. They think you're belittling them.

What I would suggest to you is find a way to kick him out of the house thru the guy whose name is on the lease, or move out. You're in no winnable situation. I have spent one year in a situation like that where I shared an apartment with 3 other guys, but one of them was the biggest bum ever born. He was even worse than that guy you are dealing with now. As soon as I've received my asylum papers from the immigration, I moved out, found a small unit that was not expensive, and lived there by myself. When some friends or relatives did not have a place, they used to stay with me but under my rule. If I noticed any of them being messier, I used to kick them out of the house. Sometimes paying fa little more money gives you a piece of mind that you wouldn't have when you share with certain people.

I dont know most of somali guys but if I share a house with other somalis it has to be wadaado
