A company in milan italy did a publicity stunt by making it appear as if a huge submarine came through the pavement , the dailymail reported on it as below and here what they said about it.

The people of Milan awoke to find something a little strange yesterday morning.
Just off of Via dei Mercanti, near the heart of the old city, a submarine had apparently pushed its way through the paving stones and damaged a nearby car.
The road's shattered surface lay piled up around, with baffled firefighters looking on. Meanwhile, sailors clambered down from the lost submarine's tower to meet emergency crews at the scene,In case you haven't guessed already, it was, of course, an ambitious publicity stunt.
Workers for Europ Assistance IT, an insurance group based in Italy, had come to the street early in the morning to construct the fake submarine.
The installation was erected to promote the firm's 'Protect Your Life' campaign

If they lie about small things like these how can we trust them ? the standards of Somali journalism is at an all time low , the internet has made things worse too , every little story an eleven yr old posts will be on Somali website being passed as legit news

For goodness sake, it is a website and most websites be they Somalis or non-Somali are run by amateurs. Journalism requires similar grades as an engineering or a Law degree to be accepted in a reputable university.

We should call the Somali websites, Basal like the American Onion which runs a fictional and satirical news portal. Laakiin, even that, we will take it seriously and as news worthy. As long as people like Dahir Calasow claim to be an investigative journalist, our quality of intellect dived below the point of humans. I don't blame him, I blame all of us Somalis for looking anything negative that we can stick on our tribal nemesis.

If western media exaggerate in their reporting, it because they know what they doing.

Waa runtaa , i think the story about the submarine in milan that the somali website used was actually taken from the Onion , the sad thing is we know it's fake but a lot fobs will take it seriously
