Marexaan closeness to one another

Post by sadeboi »

Before I explain, let me illustrate.

Darood
SADE
Marexaan -- Facaye
Awsame -- Uurmudig
Baalyiri
HodanBerri
Galshiredle
Isaaq-- (Reer) Hasan
Amaanreer
Radimiir--Talxe-- Wagerdhac-- Hawrarsame
Warwaajecle
Muuse-- Celi-- (Haber) Ciise-- (Haber) Yaquub
Abadir-- Mamaasame
Daud
Maxamed--- Soonfure
Ciis-- Cali-Dheere-- (Reer) Cisman-- (Reer) Yusef
Mataan
Yusef -- Hiraabe (Reer Garad)
Xuseen-- (Ina) Nuur
Khalaf-- (Reer) Axmed, Siyaad, Cali, Yabar
Ugas Sharmarke-- Bah Dir-- Bah Abaskuul
Ugas Guleed
Farax Ugas -- Baha Guleed
Diini Ugas

Darood. Darood. Darood
Kablalax. Kablalax. Kablalax
Koombe. Koombe. Kumade
Harti. Harti. Absame
Majeerteen Dhulbahante. Ogaden
Wabaneeye Ahmed Muqabul

All these subclans are grandfathers of Reer Hasan (Hasan Galshiredle HodanBerri).

Maxamed Zubeer is equal to Muuse Warwaajecle of Marexaan, Muuse Warwaajecle includes 17 subclans (counting Reer Farax Ugas as one.

Cumer Muxamoud is equal to Ciis Maxamed Dauud, which is all the clans from Reer Garaad to Reer Diini.

We are very close to each other but see each other as far from one another. Our issue lies with our genealogy from Galshiredle to Sade, whereby Kablalax was blessed with many children we had madi after madi.

Sadeboi,

I actually bare to differ, from everything I have observed Marexaan genuinely have stronger kinship bonds or feel strongly about it than other clans.

Marehans have small to medium sub-clans all over the place and you can't tell who and how they are related. but they work together better than the Kablalah, who have large chunks and you know how they are related it's just easier. and they go down to medium and smaller, but they are more disunited.

^^

Yup 33 smaller ones, vs a few large ones. I remember first time hearing how many names Cumar Maxamuud count to finally get there and was shocked. Reer Diini alone for example just 8 names.

I Think The Three Biggest Subclans in Marexaan Are:

1.Reer Ugaas Diini .. The Biggest Subclan in Mareexaan

2.Reer Hassan ..

3.Wagardhac ..

Diini was alive somewhere around 250 years ago. OMar Mahamud is older than him by 7 or 8 Genertaions. Ugaas Dini is a contemparary of Farax Shirwaac or Mahad Faraax and our Naaleya Ahmed who was married to Mahads sister daughter of Farah Shirwac most likely.

Dhulos, Warsan, MJ, OG are = Balyiri

Mahamed Zubeir, Mahamud Salebaan, Garaad Shirshore are = to Amanreer

Marehan only became as large as they are today when they gained access to the relatively rich southwest. Marehan Gedo ayu ku tirmay.

Some Marehan subclans like Talxe and Wagardhac are in my view larger than some Ugaas Diini subclans like Reer Kooshin or Reer Ugaas Sharmarke. And Reer Hasan are probably the largest single subclan (Ugaas Diini does not function as a subclan) because they inhabit half of Liban which has a huge population.

In gedo reer ugaas Sharmarke and Reer Yuusuf (reer hassan) are the two largest clans ... But if u add all the other reer hassan clans like abraahin, gumurwaaq and waqmahashe then reer hassan is larger than reer ugaas sharmarke in gedo ... Reer hassan is about the same size as Bah Xawaadle of reer diini ... Bah hawaadle is Reer Ugaas Sharmarke, reer Siyaad and Reer Warsame ...

As for Wagardhac .. Ilma dhuxul higle makes them laandheere .. Ilma dhuxul higle are reer Gediid, reer wardheere, reer Rooble and the Small Reer faahiye ...

Reer Dalal Are Probably about the Same Size as Ilma Dhuxul Higle .. But not bigger than wagardhac ... If u add all other Wagardhac subclans like Reer Allamagan and Cumar dheere and reer afweyne and reer siyaad liibaan etc etc then wagardhac is the biggest marexaan subclan in mudug .. Reer Diini Is Not that far behind tho .. Reer Dalal Is Huge, and then U Have Reer Siyaad in mudug and bah darandoole and reer hersi and maxamoud guuleed from bah xawadle .. And there is reer siyaad xuseen which is probably the same size as reer allamagan dalal(biggest in reer Dalal .. And then u have celi
