My quick thoughts on Jubbaland:

1-the state has a great foreign policy that has drawn the attention of the world and neighbors. This delivery is a monumental accomplishment and coup for supposedly a 'novice' federal unit. The relationship is not one way as Jubbaland has been on the receiving end of projects, aid, etc
2- If Jubbaland was hard to dismantle in the past, it just got harder
3- Ahmed Madoobe will ran Jubbaland for a very long time- its rare someone in Africa to relinquish power so easily
4- I advise more patience for my Sade brethern. If you thought the current regime is only supported by Kenyan troops, think again. for better or worse, they have gotten pretty much everybody on their side politically and economically. Its hard to dislodge your 'enemy' when they are so entrenched.
5-RIP GIJamac
6- I dont know Ahmed Madoobe's background in terms of education/experience, but he seems to have gotten great advisers/technocrats

Challenges

1- Free Jubbada dhexe from terrorists. I think Gedo will be a difficult, not a lot of support there maybe some pockets but i never see all the cities supporting this admin until one of their own is in power. But more beneficial and necessary is Jubbada dhexe, i think without it Jubbaland is not a federal state. They must secure all of the two Jubbas to be viable

I think they did a good job, but Security in Kismaayo should be stepped up, and Reconcialiation with the other clans should be one of the first steps. Also recapture the Land from Al sheydan. He has some of Sade but needs all of them and the rest of the Darood behind him for this to succeed.

Jubbaland also needs a man Like Abdiweli Sheikh, Xalane (if he can get support lol) or Ghandi or Cabdiwahaab Ugaas, Someone the world can deal with an advance Jubbaland, Politically, Economically, Good Governance & Security.

Yes, most Reer Gedo will not accept Ahmed Madoobe although he helped liberate Kismayo from shishkabab.
What actually needs to be done is liberating the south side of the Juba river. Take Buaale but forget about Jilib and Jamame towns.
i don't care if those people are under Alshabab forever
Our border with Alshabab must be the river itself.

Lol a few trucks, and now you think your something? Lol. Your no different from the so called "goverment" in mogdishu, i bet they've also got these types of weapons, but what power have they got? if anisom and the kenyan's were to leave tommorrow, al shabab would capture the whole in a day, and those so called "leaders" who can't even go the toilets by themselves would either run or be killed.

Thats a South African Nyala apc.
Its like the southafricans looked at somalias terrain and designed a vehicles for it.
This is an anti-technical weapon, it will exterminate technicals and somali militias like cockroaches while being so mibile that it can outrun them
even in thick bush.
cant run , cant hide and if you stay and fight you get splattered.

All you need is capable leaders and this is one hell of a weapon.

Imagine if you arm this with 60mm mortars also from southafrica or france.
and the rest with 50 calber browning as the main weapon and a small machine gun as secondary.
and you have a herd of toyota technicals along for support.
