So the SL gov wasn't opposed to taking in refugees, they're just opposed to taking in the ones from "Somalia". The guy had to explain how one family from Somalia got off the ship because they were pretending to be landers.

Anyway, Puntland took in 2,000 people yesterday. They should divert the ship to Bosaso and tell those stranded in Berbera to head to PL.

What's with you guys thinking Puntland is trying to score points? What advantage does Puntland get? We already have thousands of southern IDPs in Puntland so we have nothing to gain from this. The difference here is we know how to divide politics from tragedy. Even if the Puntland government said they didn't have the resources to take in any more people, they do not have absolute power. The elders, the locals and the wadaads would never allow women and children to roast and starve on a ship on our coast. A government must respect the wishes of its people and President Abdiweli knows better than to test the locals.

I'm compassionate towards this people believe me and I do love them to get access to their basic rights such as being unloaded, water, toilets and one or two nights of rest as well as food. Trust me I support that.

But what I know is that Wanlawein don't mind living as roaches and they do not take responsibilities of their own actions. Look Wanlawein displaced them and chased them half-way around the Middle East. SL is not the one who displaced them from Konfur and thus is not obligated to mother them. Your fellow Wanlawein only record videos, make posts about "SL this and that" but do little for their own. Look last time Turks fed you and none of you contributed a penny and here you lot here playing high moral ground claiming to be setting up accounts and other BS.

Wanlaweinians need to go home from Kenya, Ethiopia, SL and other places and rebuild their lives. Look Isaac returned home right away from Ethiopia in the 1991s even before landmines were cleared off. Hundreds got blown up because their desire to return and pick up their lives but Wanlawein still in Dadaab with no shame.

So I believe if Berbera makes camp, it will be bigger than Berbera (with no port) in 10 years especially Wanlawein breed like roaches. Let's work together and send them to Konfuur in the most dignified manner.
