That census was BS from the very beginning.
Re: Somaliland reject imaginary SFG census
I too know how to fill up a spreadsheet with imaginary numbers, convert it into PDF and upload it to iCloud account and call it "Census of AMISOMIA and the Ugandisho Territory of Uganda". In fact, I can put those numbers 236,000 Ugandans in Ugandisho and represent it to few clueless white boys.

Re: Somaliland reject imaginary SFG census
The Somaliland numbers were a bit exagerated in my opinion. The triangle has 1 million people max.
The hard mineral water leads to decreased spermatogenesis, thus forever condeming trianglites to laangaabhood.

Re: Somaliland reject imaginary SFG census
if SL is 1 million then outland is not more than 60 000 souls. The fact is that hargeysa could be around 2/3 of PL population if not maybe morethegoodshepherd wrote:The Somaliland numbers were a bit exagerated in my opinion. The triangle has 1 million people max.

Re: Somaliland reject imaginary SFG census
For the census, it actually state that UN took the census with SL in 2003. More than 12 years ago. With the rates of population increase, somaliland could be close to 5 millions by now.

Re: Somaliland reject imaginary SFG census
Somebody seriously needs to read the methodology in the report. There's a later version than this that shows that the 2003 data was extrapolated by using US satellite images.

As I read the initial link, Somaliland is not challenging the data, but the fact the UN shared it with the SFG. Sounds a lot like their rationale for ending direct peace talks and not receiving the Somali refugees from Yemen. The arguments are not getting more rational as time goes on.
