Re: FlyDubai started its flights to and from Hargeisa this morning!
When I tell Wanlawein that they are clueless and have idea what they talking about they just troll. Today was no different when they were boasting about UAE FM signing another meaningless MoU with Hassan Cullusow.
I told them it was about FlyDubai coming to Hargeisa and not about Emirates going to Mogadishu. As usual they made noises...
In fact, I know FlyDubai wants its own terminal in Hargeisa.

Big development. I like it. What we need is give them a complete terminal of their own in which they themselves finance and build. They should use Hargeisa as their hub for African market.
Mohamud Hashi Abdi wu ku guulaystay wasaaradiisa iyo socdaalka SL.

Today I congratulate SL.
By the way if you watched the whole press conference, Edna mentioned a young man by the name of Omar. That kid started his travel agency (Safeway) with less than $500. He came to me and my friend for assistance. I made some banners/posters for him and my friend ran free ads for him. His first contract was Ethiopian Airlines.
Very good guy. He deserves it.

MOGADISHU (HOL) — Somalia’s government and the United Arab Emirates signed a preliminary aviation agreement on Sunday, a move that many expect would ease restrictions on air travels between the two countries.
The memorandum of understanding by the UAE foreign minister Sheikh Abdullahi Bin Zayid who arrived in the Somali capital and his Somalia counterpart Abdasalan Hadliye is parts of negotiations between the two countries as the UAE ponders to undertake more development projects including hospitals and police stations across the horn of Africa nation.
“This is a very encouraging step that would help Somalia on the recovery of the infrastructure, peace restoration, political stability and economic development.” said Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Somalia’s president after the signature of the agreement.
Under the new agreement, UAE-owned airlines would start flying to Somalia after more than two decades of war in Somalia.
United Arab Emirates often imposes restriction of Somali passport holders travelling to their country as its missing on the list of visa-free countries that allow travels for Somali citizens.
Mr. Zayid on his part vowed his country would boost support for Somalia, urging other Gulf countries to follow suit.
The development comes one year after Somalia regained its airspace control after a long period of management by the Civil Aviation Caretaker Authority for Somalia (CACAS). SCAMA in conjunction with the International Civil Aviation Organizations also finalized a process in 2014 to transfer control of Somalia's airspace to the new Air Space Management Centre in the capital.
you should Thank Mogadishu anyways good development

Hawiye is the most sneaky and backstabbing snakes. usc instead of holding democratic elections and not targeting darod civilians who had nothing to do with afwayne, they tried to put naked hutu in presidency and went on to target women and kidsgambit wrote:Warya gijamaac tell your dawned kusheeg to stop trying to sabotage us. You are comparing a business decision to a humanitarian decision. Turkey airline was carrying food aid to starving people in somalia, their decision was part of turkey feeling so sorry for hawiye people they decided to open the world to mogadishu to help the world. The Turkish airline is not making profit from that route.
Flydubai is a thought-out business decision, that is why they decided to do 4 flights a week. They done the maths
Re: FlyDubai started its flights to and from Hargeisa this morning!
