Do people say that to comfort people or because it is true?Prlnce wrote:Allah knows best is or this is a test is what people say when they are trying to comfort someone it's not the same as ...god allowed your baby to die because he was going to prevent the next hitler, stalin ....a primitive attack by god....astaghfirullah

If you watched the clip, he didn't say that the baby was going to be the next Hitler...he said that the baby COULD be the next Hitler, Stalin, or COULD have grown up to die a horrible disease. At the end of the Day, Allah knows best, Doesn't he? That's the point of his argument. That Allah sees from the beginning to the end and therefore he did something to prevent the future problem.
Do you think Allah killed the baby to test the parents?
My comment should shouldn't make it seem like i necessarily agree with the latter part of his argument. I agree with the first part of the argument though. Neither do i agree with the "His time had come," argument; it's pretty absurd. We can't put everything on God...though he knows why it happened. It doesn't mean that he made it happen.
His time had not come. Something happened, which i do not understand. But it is not God who kills .
Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward 111 the hereafter. We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve Us with) gratitude.

I came to discover that there are some things that are taught, but never believed.chelseaforever wrote:Nor can a soul die except by Allah's leave, the term being fixed as by writing. People say lots of things not in the quran or bible to comfort others. Pat would say that to the mother if he said it on national tv he would not hesitate to say that to face. He has a long history of saying things like this....like the time he told man to divorce his wife because she had alzheimer's.....or the time he said the one thing muslims do better than us is beat their wife.....or time he told a man to convert to islam to beat his wife...why? because his wife was disrespecting him.... It's personal advice not religious guidance that has nothing to do with theology. He should of stopped at the 1:10 mark of the video.BeyondQabil wrote:Do people say that to comfort people or because it is true?Prlnce wrote:Allah knows best is or this is a test is what people say when they are trying to comfort someone it's not the same as ...god allowed your baby to die because he was going to prevent the next hitler, stalin ....a primitive attack by god....astaghfirullah
Last Sunday, a friend of mine told me the same thing. A relative of his had lost the wife. Then he asked him, "Why did God allow my wife to die just like that? Is it because i did not know how to pray?"
My friend told him "No. It's because God loved your wife and wanted her in heaven." It's a common way of comfort amongst Christians. "We loved you, but God loved you more." Is a common phrase in the orbituries. But is it true? It may be comforting, but is it true?
So here Pat is trying to tell this person (Remember he's not talking to the mother,) that the child is in Heaven with God. He has the same aim of comforting the mother, and although his argument is more comforting than saying, God killed your child to test you. It's a test from Allah, it is just as theologically messed up.

He told him to move to Saudi Arabia where it's legal to beat the shit out of your wifePrlnce wrote:People say lots of things not in the quran or bible to comfort others.
