Re: women rights
i dont think is useless, any group's rights. many societies abuse women and do not have any rights.
what is the different than , black's right when they were slaved? some places women treated worse than slaves.
ive a mother and sisters and i want them to have same rights as men. Their God given rights that men took from them in the name of religion or just in name of " wan ka hoog badanahay".

Also in Islam is there equal inheritance rights for women? If a father leaves behind a son and a daughter does the daughter get half the share of the inheritance?

Re: women rights
prince, in some cultures or communities they treat them worse, some treat like less than animal.. i see it in my court day in and day out. i am sure somali women not better in back home.
also getting female 50% less not against right if women. i can even go and say women getts better deal.
her 50% is for her, she doesnt have to even spend of her kids or her self. man/husband is responsible of that. so tell me after he takjes care rent/morgage, life expences, what in his share left? sure less than 50%.
its like giving one person 50 $ safe it if you want, but you provided them house, food, cloths and on top of that lexuries and give second person 100 $ but they have to pay their way, rent, food, transportation clothes etc
who got better deal? i say woman got much more.
men in perfect islamic way, have more responsibilities. with some previllage ( on outside) comes more responsibilities of taking care, kids, wife, oldery parents wct.
