I was surfing Youtube when I come across this video that is entitled "Hot Somali Girls". Somehow, they are all light-skinned tough, even tough majority of Somalis are dark skin. Not sure how this collection is all light-skin, but nevertheless it is worth watching and listening the music.

Majority of somalis are not dark skin. Only haawiye are dark skin. Most daroods and isaaqs are light or brown with good features.

Maasha'Allah, all of the Somali women in that video are hijabis. Therefore, I doubt they would use Diana to lighten themselves up. I think this is their natural skin.

Everyone here wears hijabs, jilabs and niqabs, and yet they still use bleach.

You can tell a few of them use bleach, though others don't use it as hard and therefore aren't as obvious. There are definitely pretty ladies in the video, speculation aside. lol


And why do some of you think only Hawiye are dark skinned....have you ever seen more than 2 in one place? Do you know how light they can be? Good features...? Lol oh the self hate...

Apparently, instructor is fine that we can use youtube videos as sources, so I stumbled upon this video and knowing the crowd in SNET, I felt sharing it. You were one of the people that I guessed were going to show up and comment on it! Just didn't contemplate I will be the one that gets interviewed by you!

You will learn that it is very difficult to get between a woman and what she thinks will get her more attention. For example, this video is hot chicks. But not one medium or dark skinned Somali. Why else do they risk mustaches, burns, cancer and chem poisoning?

Not everyone is using bleach (Diana is just the main comp, most use the chemical compound that isn't Diana) but point is, you can't say she's hijabi so she prob doesn't do that. How is it that only the women seem to be so light while all the men are darker? Lol
