Good on him for trying and his determination should be applauded.

What he needs is basic physics, bit of mechanical and someone to take him to Nairobi to see actual planes.

Overall he is a believer and a creator...failures are part of life.

I like his overall goal.

Here is a video from one of my friends' relative building his own plane in Melbourne from scrap metals. This kid is a genius.

Keep it up African brothers. So far only Nigerians have successfully built planes in their backyard and launched it into the skies...I believe I did saw once a Ghanaian too. On average the Nigerians posses the highest IQ of any sub-Saharan African.

Failures are a part of life. You live and learn. The Europeans didn't create industrial powerhouses overnight. It took decades of trial&error to achieve such a thing.

He should be commended for his effort.

The guy is trying, but the problem is why does he want to fly something that is not ready yet? He could easily lose his life in it. He needs to test it as remote control plane. Hopefully, he will get it off the ground.

He wasn't in the aircraft when it took off.

Ah, I mistook it as if he was in the plane. The whole thing is very funny tough. I think the guy is pretending the two American pioneers who were the first people who setup such plane in earlier 20th century. He should followed the new models.
