this thought was sparked by the constant threads i see on snet of diaspora somali men boasting about things women usually boast about. this new phenomenon of somali men extensively discussing their looks is disappointing. these days you can log onto snet and find the index page filled with threads with titles such as, "blacks can't stop touching my natural hair," or "they say i can't be african," and even, "a coworker told me i can be a runway model."
